What is object storage?
Object storage is to upload data files in the form of objects into storage spaces (buckets). It provides a method for storing and accessing data across multiple instances.
Key features:
- Persistent storage that can be attached to different instances
- Suitable for scenarios where data needs to be shared or accessed by multiple instances
- Allows for data portability and facilitates collaboration between different instances
- Provides data persistence and the ability to move storage between instances
- When using network storage, you can only delete the instance, as the storage is managed separately
Will the created instance automatically mount the object storage?
If the selected image is a container image, the system will automatically mount the object storage after creating the instance, and the mounting path is /cloud/cloud-s3fs.
If the selected image is a system image, you need to mount it by yourself according to the documentation. Mount-s3
