Deploy
- Open the instance list (opens in a new tab) on the RunC.AI console
- Click “Deploy”
- Select the required type and configuration from the graphics card list
- Select the image. The instance corresponding to Base image is Docker container instance, and reinstalling Docker is not supported; the instance corresponding to System image is virtual machine instance, and you can install Docker by yourself
- If you need to mount object storage, you need to create a Bucket first. Click here (opens in a new tab). After creation, click "Refresh" and select the mount
- Enter a name in the Instance Name field
- Select the Billing Cycle that meets your needs
- Click "Deploy Now"
STOP
Warning:You will be charged for idle instances even if they are stopped. If you don't need to retain your instance environment, you should terminate it completely.
- Open the Instance list page
- Find the instance that you want to stop
- Click the last option and find "Stop"
- Click "Stop" to confirm
Start
- Open the Instance list page
- Find the instance that you want to start
- Click the last option and find "Start"
- Click "Start"
Terminate
Danger:Terminating an instance permanently will delete all the data outside your Object Storage. Be sure you've saved all the data you want to access again.
- Open the Instance list page
- Find the instance that you want to terminate
- Click the last option and find "Terminate"
- If the instance is running, you need to stop it
- Click "Confirm Terminate" to confirm
If the capacity of the system disk is insufficient, you need to perform the operation of expanding the disk capacity. Otherwise, you won't be able to use the instance normally
- Open the Instance list page
- Find the instance for which the disk capacity needs to be expanded
- Click the last option and find "Expand Disk"
- Enter the value of the target capacity and confirm it
- If the instance is of the container type, the system supports automatic disk expand; if the instance is of the virtual machine type, after performing the disk expand operation, you need to enter the host to perform relevant configurations.View method
Create Image
Please ensure not to modify key configurations of the system before making homemade images. Examples include network-related configuration information. Modifications to key system configurations may cause problems such as inability to make images or inability to start images made.
- Open the Instance list page
- Find the instance for which you need to create an image
- Click the last option and find "Create Image"
- If the instance is running, you need to stop it
- After clicking, enter the image name and description (modifications are supported later).
- This operation incurs a fee. For details, please refer to View method. Click "Purchase Now" to start creating the image.Generally, it takes about 10 minutes to create an image.
Note: Creating an image means packaging the image and data of the system disk to generate an image. Subsequently, you can directly create an instance through this image.
Set Password
Note: If the system has changed the administrator username, it cannot be set.
- Open the Instance list page
- Find the instance for which you need to change the password
- Click the last option and find "Set Password"
- If the instance is running, you need to stop it 5.Enter the new password and then click "Yes", and the password will be updated
